Danger Charters has four custom-built, historic, shallow-draft schooners: Danger, Sarah, Danger’s Prize, and Danger’s Pearl. See the world at the speed it was discovered.
Like card players, actors, and baseball players, sailors are superstitious. Sailing lore warns against changing the name of a boat, which is how Danger Charters got its name! Some assume that we offer an adrenaline-soaked sailing experience, but the opposite is true – we always seek calm water.
Tradition says that renaming a boat demands a de-naming ceremony. This requires writing the name of the vessel on a piece of paper, folding and putting it into a wooden box, burning the lot of it, and then throwing the ashes into the sea!

We have been going on Danger Charters for years. We really enjoy the Wind & Wine sunset cruise over other options in the area. It's a more intimate experience with less guests which we prefer. We went out last Monday and had 8 different wine tastings along with delicious bites. You can also have as much of beer, seltzers, soft drinks, etc. as you would like. I'm so sorry I can't remember the Captain's name but he was great as well as Morgan and Jack who were super funny and worked so hard to make sure everyone was happy. We always recommend Danger Charters to everyone that visits Key West.
