Passengers are welcome to bring any food or drink—please no coolers, red wine or anything stains or is messy.

The Private and Public sailboat tours are a great way to spend a relaxing day on the water in Hilton Head SC.
With the Private tour you will have the boat to yourself and with the Public tour you will share the boat with other guests. Maximum 26 passengers with Private.

The world-famous Stars & Stripes is proud to call Hilton Head Island home. This grand and celebrated sailboat is the historical America’s Cup winning vessel designed and skippered by the famous Captain Dennis Conner also known as “Mister America’s Cup.” Due to his great feats on the water Dennis Conner has been featured on the covers of Sports Illustrated and Time magazine.
Stars & Stripes measures 65 ft. in length, hosting a 92-ft. tall mast. All of the wenches and grinders are original from its competitive sailing past. Modifications have been made to the vessel to conform to commercial standards required by the Coast Guard.

Exceeded all expectations! The captain, Justin, did an excellent narration about the nearby islands, landmarks, dolphins, and other creatures. The mate, McKinnley, provided great service and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Very friendly and professional crew. The boat was spacious and allowed guests to see dolphins from all sides. Snack bar and drinks are available for purchase. You also get a photo taken before the trip that you can buy printed (we did!). We would recommend this to anyone, suitable for all ages.

What a beautiful sail aboard the Stars and Stripes! We had absolutely perfect weather with the right amount of breeze and perfect clouds to give us a gorgeous sail and sunset. What was in control of the crew was also very nice. The ship itself is a beautiful sailing vessel. You sit on cushions directly on the deck and as the ship keels you are either on the high upside or low side, so have to adjust a little to ensure comfort. Just something to get used to as you go. Anyone who wanted had the opportunity to pilot the boat. The crew were very friendly and helpful, offering beverages and information along the way. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommend for anyone who would like a little adventure and a beautiful experience while they’re in Hilton head.
