The operators were born and raised on this incredible island, they are sailors and navigators, experts of this sea with unique colors, and their dream is to convey to their guests the great emotions that “Sicily” gives them every day.
Once you meet the skipper, you will board a sailboat with three cabins (one of these will be available during the excursion), a bathroom with shower, an outdoor shower, a kitchen and a fridge.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Immediately after leaving the moorings the skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing by collaborating, if you wish, in the opening of the sails that we will do immediately after leaving the port. Once out of the port you will admire the whole gulf of Catania with the magnificent ETNA in the background.
At the Caves of Ulysses you can take your first swim of the day. These caves were formed under a splendid lava cliff overlooking the sea. The colours of the backdrops are wonderful, ranging from blue, to green, to blue.
While sailing towards Acitrezza, you will pass under the Medieval Castle of Acicastello. Spectacular will be the view of the castle from the sea. You can also observe the characteristic “lava cushions” that can be found under the castle and which were formed following the rapid cooling due to the encounter between the lava of the underwater eruptions and the sea water.
Once arrived in Acitrezza, the skipper will show you the Marine Reserve of the Cyclops Islands. After a short stop with the possibility of taking a bath, we will undertake the return navigation
During the return you can take a last swim offshore (weather and sea conditions permitting). You will return to the Port of Catania around 4pm.
